Plaid Cymru Shadow Cabinet Secretary for Finance and Economy Adam Price has challenged the Cabinet Secretary for Economy over his mythical economic strategy.

Speaking the in National Assembly for Wales, Carmarthenshire AM Adam Price reminded the Cabinet Secretary for Economy that on at least three occasions he had committed to publishing an economic strategy before the summer recess.

Plaid Cymru Shadow Cabinet Secretary for Finance and Economy Adam Price said:

“Having promised that they would published a new economic strategy in the Spring, it’s a real dereliction of duty by the Welsh Government that it’s postponed until the Autumn. With all the economic uncertainty we are facing at the moment – job losses at Tesco, worries over the future of Ford, and Brexit-related concerns over the future of Airbus and our agricultural sector – we need leadership and a clear strategy. That is something the Welsh Government is patently unable to provide.”
